What it is<\/h2>\n

You can add someone to the CRM yourself, without waiting for a call, for example a referral or a person you met at an open house.<\/p>\n

CRM > Contacts > Add contact<\/p>\n

Steps<\/h2>\n

  1. Go to CRM > Contacts and press Add contact<\/strong>.

  2. Enter a first or last name and a phone number. Both are needed before you can save.

  3. Fill in anything else you know: email, address, city, state, postal code.<\/li>\n
  4. Pick a Contact type<\/strong> (seller, buyer, investor, renter, agent, vendor or other) and a Temperature<\/strong> (hot, warm or cold).<\/li>\n
  5. Choose a Lead source<\/strong>, or leave it as Added by hand.<\/li>\n
  6. Set a star Rating<\/strong> if you use one.<\/li>\n
  7. Owners and managers can choose who it is Assigned to<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  8. Press Create contact<\/strong>. The new record opens.

    Good to know<\/h2>\n

    • Contacts an agent creates are always assigned to that agent.<\/li>\n
    • One phone number can only be on one record. If the number is already on a contact, you will be told.<\/li>\n
    • To add a second phone number, an extra email or a mailing address later, use the Property tab on the record.<\/li>\n
