It reads <strong>Connected \u00b7 headset live<\/strong> when all is well. Most problems come from a blocked microphone, the wrong output device, or the tab being closed or reloaded.<\/p>\n<h2>Where to find it<\/h2>\n<p>Dialer &gt; live session &gt; audio bar<\/p>\n<figure class=\"rd-shot rd-shot-app\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/realdialer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/realdialer-help-dialer-browser-audio-problems.webp\" alt=\"Fix browser audio problems: Audio status is on the dialer\" width=\"1440\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Fix browser audio problems: Audio status is on the dialer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>If the bar says <strong>Audio could not connect<\/strong>, allow the microphone for app.realdialer.com in your browser, then press <strong>Try again<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you cannot hear the other person, pick your headset in the <strong>Play call audio through<\/strong> list on the audio bar.<\/li>\n<li>If they cannot hear you, check the bar does not say <strong>mic muted<\/strong>. Press <strong>Unmute<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If people hear an echo, switch from speakers to a wired or Bluetooth headset.<\/li>\n<li>If the bar says <strong>Browser audio is not connected in this tab<\/strong>, end the session and start a new one.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Good to know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Closing or reloading the tab hangs up your audio and ends the session. A browser connection cannot be resumed after a reload.<\/li>\n<li>If your audio drops in the middle of a session, the session closes and a message explains why. Start a new session to keep calling.<\/li>\n<li>The output device list only appears once your call connects and the browser has the microphone.<\/li>\n<li>Ring and chime sounds are only for you.
