Each does something different.<\/p>\n<h2>Where to find it<\/h2>\n<p>Dialer &gt; live session &gt; session bar, and Hang up on the person&#8217;s card<\/p>\n<figure class=\"rd-shot rd-shot-app\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/realdialer.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/realdialer-help-dialer-pause-end-session.webp\" alt=\"Pause dialing or end a session in RealDialer\" width=\"1440\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Pause dialing or end a session in RealDialer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>To take a break, press <strong>Pause dialing<\/strong> in the session bar. Nothing new dials and your audio stays connected. Press <strong>Resume dialing<\/strong> to carry on.<\/li>\n<li>While you are on a call the button reads <strong>Pause after this call<\/strong>. Press it and the dialer pauses as soon as that call is done.<\/li>\n<li>To hang up on the person you are talking to, press <strong>Hang up<\/strong> under their name. Your audio stays connected and the result popup opens.<\/li>\n<li>To finish for the day, press <strong>End session<\/strong> in the session bar.<\/li>\n<li>Read the confirmation and press <strong>End the session<\/strong>, or <strong>Keep calling<\/strong> to stay.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Good to know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>After <strong>Save and stay on lead<\/strong>, the session holds on that person and the button reads <strong>Next call<\/strong>. Press it when you are ready to dial again.<\/li>\n<li>Ending a session hangs up your audio, cuts off anyone you are talking to and drops any number still ringing.<\/li>\n<li>Contacts not yet called stay on the list for the next pass. Results you already saved stay on their contacts.<\/li>\n<li>The call you are on gets no result unless you save one before you end.<\/li>\n<li>If a call that was already ringing is answered while you are paused, it still comes to you rather than hearing a recorded message.<\/li>\n<li>In a browser audio session, the <strong>Hang up<\/strong> button on the audio bar at the bottom ends the session too, after the same confirmation.<\/li>\n<li>Your session report appears as soon as the session ends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can pause a session to take a break without losing your connection, hang up on just the person you are talking to, or end the whole session.
