What it is<\/h2>\n

On the Lists page you can select contacts and copy them onto another list, move them from one list to another, take them off a list, or make a new list from them.<\/p>\n

Where to find it<\/h2>\n

Lists > tick contacts > the action bar above the table.<\/p>\n

Steps<\/h2>\n

  1. Open Lists<\/strong> and narrow the table to the people you want.<\/li>\n
  2. Tick the box beside each contact, or the box in the header for the whole page. Click Select all \u2026 matching<\/strong> (it shows the count, such as Select all 5,476 matching) to take everyone that matches your filters.

  3. Choose Add to list<\/strong>, Move to list<\/strong>, Remove from list<\/strong> or New list from selection<\/strong>.

  4. Pick the list, or choose Create new list<\/strong> and name it. For a move or remove, also pick which lists to take them off.

  5. Read the preview line, then confirm.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Good to know<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Add to list copies people. They stay on their current lists.<\/li>\n
    • Move to list takes them off the lists you pick and puts them on the new one. Their call progress comes with them.<\/li>\n
    • Remove from list keeps the contacts and their call history. They are only taken off that list.<\/li>\n
    • After the action, a message tells you exactly how many were changed.<\/li>\n
    • The same bar has Tag lists<\/strong>, Move lists to folder<\/strong> and Skip trace<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
