What it is<\/h2>\n

Texting is a paid upgrade with no free trial. Once it is added, you register your business with the carriers, and texts can be sent when the registration is approved.<\/p>\n

Where to find it<\/h2>\n

When texting is available for your account, a Texting card appears on the Upgrades page and under Settings > Billing > Plan and billing, and Text registration appears under Settings > Compliance.<\/p>\n

Steps<\/h2>\n

  1. Open your name in the top right > Plan and billing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. If a texting card shows below your plan, press Add texting<\/strong>. Your card is charged that day for each agent, then on that day each month.<\/li>\n
  3. Then start the text registration. Texts can go out once it is approved.<\/li>\n
  4. If you do not see a texting card, texting is not open on your account yet. Open a support request in the Billing and plan<\/strong> category to ask about it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Good to know<\/h2>\n

    • Texting is still being rolled out, so many accounts do not see it yet. When it is not on for your account, nothing about texting shows in Settings.<\/li>\n
    • The price is shown on the texting card itself and comes from your billing.<\/li>\n
    • Texting is priced per agent, because a texting number belongs to one agent.<\/li>\n
    • Carrier registration is required before texts can go out, and it starts after texting is added.<\/li>\n
