What it is
Every plan already keeps call recordings for a set time: 30 days on Foundation, 60 on Operator and 90 on Command. The Call Recording upgrade keeps every recording for two years, playable from the contact record and searchable by contact.
Where to find it
Upgrades in the left menu > Call Recording card
Steps
- Click Upgrades in the left menu.
- Find the Call Recording card and check its state.
- If you are the owner, press Turn it on, or Keep it during the free trial.
- Check the price shown and press Yes, add it.
Good to know
- Price: $9.97 a month for the whole account, not per agent.
- Every account gets a 14 day free trial. Nothing is charged unless the owner keeps it.
- Recordings made while the upgrade is on, including during the free trial, keep their two years even if you turn it off later.
- When it is off, new recordings are kept for the days your plan includes.
- Your Plan and billing page shows 2 years, Call Recording upgrade under Recording retention while it is on.
- The upgrade changes how long recordings are kept. Whether calls are recorded at all is set under Settings > Recordings.
- Calls are recorded only when both you and the contact are in a one party consent state. Calls to or from other states are never recorded, with or without the upgrade.
