What it is
The RealDialer iPhone app can send you notifications for three things: a callback coming due, a new voicemail on your numbers, and a reply on a conversation that is yours. Tapping one opens the right screen in the app.
Where to find it
RealDialer iPhone app > More > Settings > Notifications
Steps
- Open the app and allow notifications when iPhone asks.
- To check, tap More, then Settings, and look at the Notifications card. It shows On, Not asked yet or Off.
- If it says notifications are off, open the iPhone Settings app, find RealDialer, and turn notifications on.
Good to know
- iPhone only shows its permission prompt once. If you said no, you have to turn notifications on in the iPhone Settings app.
- If the card says On but this phone has not registered yet, it registers the next time the app reaches RealDialer. Open the app with a connection.
- A voicemail notification opens Voicemail, a reply opens that conversation, and a callback opens Today or Calendar.
- Notifications go to the phones where you are signed in to the app.
- The Accountability alarm in Settings can also push to the app when you are signed in on a phone.
