What it is

Call audio is kept for a set number of days, then deleted. How long depends on your plan, or two years with the Call Recording upgrade. Transcripts, AI summaries and call facts are kept permanently.

Where to find it

Recordings in the left menu. Your current retention is shown in Settings > Recordings under Recording retention.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and choose Recordings.
  2. Read Recording retention to see how long your audio is kept.
    Settings, Recordings: Recording retention
    Settings, Recordings: Recording retention
  3. To keep recordings for two years, turn on Call Recording on the Upgrades page.

Good to know

  • Foundation keeps audio 30 days, Operator 60 days and Command 90 days.
  • The Call Recording upgrade keeps every recording for two years. It is $9.97 a month for the whole account and has a 14-day free trial.
  • When audio is removed, the call shows Audio expired. The transcript and summary are still there.
  • While the upgrade is off or in its free trial, a note at the top of the Recordings page says so, with the days left in the trial.
  • Download any audio you need to keep before it expires.
