What it is
When someone leaves, you disable their seat. That frees the seat, signs them out everywhere, and stops their numbers from dialing. Their history stays on the account.
Where to find it
Settings > Team > Members and seats > On the account
Steps
- Open Members and seats.
- Find the person under On the account.
- Press the block icon in their Actions column (Take them off the floor).
- Read the dialog, then press Disable this seat. Press Keep it as it is to cancel.
- To bring someone back later, press the undo icon on their row and press Enable this seat.
Good to know
When you disable a seat:
- The seat goes back to your plan.
- Their numbers become unassigned and stop dialing until you give them to another caller. Calls to those numbers ring the account owner in the meantime.
- They are signed out now, on every device.
- Any invite link they still hold stops working.
- Nothing about their calls, recordings or contacts is deleted.
When you enable a seat again, it takes a seat from your plan, and is refused if the plan is full. Their numbers do not come back on their own. Assign numbers again in Outbound numbers.
The owner cannot be disabled, and you cannot disable yourself.
