Skip trace credits and your own Tracerfy key

What it is

Skip tracing finds phone numbers for your contacts. By default it uses RealDialer skip trace credits. If you have your own Tracerfy account, you can connect it instead, and Tracerfy bills you directly while RealDialer charges nothing for the traces.

Where to find it

Settings > Integrations > Connections. Look for the Tracerfy card and the Skip trace credits card.

Steps

1. To use credits, find Skip trace credits and press a Buy button for the pack you want.
2. To use your own Tracerfy account instead, open Tracerfy, go to the API section of your dashboard, and copy your API key.
3. In RealDialer, paste it in Tracerfy API key and press Verify and connect Tracerfy.
4. To go back to credits for a while, turn off the switch on the Tracerfy card. Your key is kept.

Good to know

• A credit is 10 cents. A skip trace on a contact uses 1 credit when a record is found. In Neighborhood Search each home found uses 2 credits. A lookup that finds nothing is free.
• Every account starts with 25 free credits. After that, buy credit packs.
• Credit packs come in 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 credits.
• Only the account owner or a billing admin can buy credits.
• With Tracerfy connected and on, every skip trace anyone on the account runs uses your Tracerfy balance.
• If your Tracerfy balance runs out, skip traces stop with a message saying so. RealDialer never switches to credits on its own.
• Recent credit activity shows what was bought and used.
