RealDialer vs REDX: Leads, Dialer or Both?
A lead company with a dialer, or a dialer that works any list.
REDX is a lead company first. It sells expireds, FSBOs, FRBOs, pre-foreclosures and neighborhood data, and adds a dialer on top. RealDialer is a dialer and CRM, and it doesn't sell leads at all. If you need fresh seller leads every morning, REDX is built for that. If you already have leads and want more lines, calling rules that run on their own and one flat price, RealDialer fits better. Plenty of agents could use both.
We make RealDialer, so we're a little biased. We stuck to what REDX says on its own website, pricing page and terms. Prices change, so take a quick look at their site before you buy.
Pick REDX if
- You need seller leads and don't have a source yet.
- You want leads to land in your dialer every morning with no importing.
- Your team runs on BoldTrail, Lofty or CINC and needs that connection today.
- You like training and a community built in.
Pick RealDialer if
- You already have leads, from REDX or anywhere else.
- You want more than three lines, or room to grow.
- You call into more than one state and want calling hours handled for you.
- You want one plan price with recording, transcripts and plenty of numbers.

What you'll really pay each month
We lined up common setups using REDX's published prices. Where you'd need leads on RealDialer, we added REDX's own lead prices, since RealDialer doesn't sell them.
Extras to know about on REDX: a second MLS is $20 a month. Extra FSBO or pre-foreclosure counties are $10 each, and extra FRBO counties are $20. Extra users are $75 to $99 a month. REDX's terms also cap owner lookups at 2,000 a month, then charge 12 cents each. None of that is unusual for a data company. It's just worth knowing before you compare headline prices.
Where REDX does really well
Seller data is REDX's home turf, and the dialer package is solid.
Seller leads, one type at a time
Expireds, FSBOs, FRBOs, pre-foreclosures and GeoLeads for circle prospecting. Buy one for $60 a month or all five for $199.
Lots of connections
REDX sends leads to Follow Up Boss, BoldTrail (kvCORE), Lofty, CINC, Top Producer, Sisu and even Mojo.
A full dialer package
Both plans include local presence, a whitelisted number, unlimited talk time, spam monitoring and cleanup, recording and voicemail drops.
Skips other agents
REDX filters out phone numbers that belong to other real estate agents, which saves some awkward calls.
Training and community
A prospecting bootcamp, virtual trainings, podcasts and a Facebook group. For newer agents, that support is worth something.
Where RealDialer pulls ahead
More lines
REDX's multi-line dialer runs three lines. RealDialer runs 3, 5 or 15, and you can dial fewer anytime.
Calling rules built in
RealDialer checks calling hours in the contact's state and yours before every dial, and holds calls until the window opens.
A guard for multi-line calling
RealDialer tracks how often two people answer at once and slows down before it gets near the 3 percent limit.
More numbers
Local caller IDs come with your plan, sized to your calling. They rotate and rest, so no single number gets worn out.
Call Coach and transcripts
Recorded calls get a transcript on every plan. Add RealDialer AI for live suggestions during calls and an AI summary of every conversation on the contact record, $49.97 per agent a month (RealDialer AI Pro $99.97) after a 14-day free trial.
Easy to cancel
Cancel from your account. No phone call or letter needed, and your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
How they differ, topic by topic
These are two different kinds of products
REDX's pricing page is mostly about data. You pick which seller leads you want, and REDX looks up the owner's phone numbers. The dialer is an extra you can add.
RealDialer is the other way around. It's all about the calling session: the lines, the record that pops up when someone answers, the notes, the callback and the follow-up. You bring the list.
So the real question is, do you need leads, a dialer or both? If you don't have anyone to call, start with data. If you have more names than you can get through, a better dialer helps more.
One, three or fifteen lines
REDX's dialer runs on WAVV, a dialer company REDX resells. It comes in two versions with the same features. The only difference is one line or three at a time.
RealDialer offers preview and predictive modes. Preview lets you read each record before the call goes out. Predictive lets the dialer set the pace. Run 1 line or go up to your plan's limit, and switch in the middle of a session.
Single line vs multi-line dialingREDX leads, RealDialer calling
If you like REDX's data but want RealDialer's calling setup, you can have both. REDX says you don't have to use its dialer. Get your REDX leads into a CSV file and import it into RealDialer, which takes up to 100,000 rows, merges duplicates and keeps the DNC flags in the file.
There's also a hands-off route. REDX sends leads to Follow Up Boss, and RealDialer syncs Follow Up Boss both ways, so leads can flow REDX to Follow Up Boss to RealDialer with no files. RealDialer has no direct REDX connection, so without Follow Up Boss it's a CSV import.
Vortex vs a CRM built into the dialer
REDX's lead system is called Vortex. It's free with any lead purchase, and the REDX dialer plugs straight into it. REDX also connects to many outside CRMs, a big plus if your team lives in Follow Up Boss or BoldTrail.
RealDialer's CRM is built into the dialer, so notes, history, recordings, callbacks and pipeline stages live on one record. It also syncs both ways with Follow Up Boss, sends leads to CloseDaily CRM, and connects to thousands of other apps through its Zapier app. Lofty and kvCORE sync are still planned, so if your team runs on BoldTrail, Lofty or CINC, REDX connects to more of them directly today.
Compliance and canceling
REDX does real work on the data side. It checks the numbers it provides against the national Do Not Call registry and flags them before your session starts. RealDialer's focus is the dialing side: calling hours for all 50 states plus DC, checked on both ends before every call, and recording rules by state. Registry scrubbing happens with your list provider, so if that's REDX, the flags come in with your file.
REDX says there are no contracts, but plans renew on their own. You cancel by phone or mail at least one business day before billing, and all sales are final. RealDialer is month to month, and you cancel from your account.
Do-not-call rules for agentsHow to test them side by side
If you already buy REDX leads, this is an easy test to run.
Export one REDX list
Take a week's worth of REDX expireds or GeoLeads as a CSV file.
Split the list
Call half on the REDX dialer and half on RealDialer, at the same hour each day.
Count conversations
Track real conversations and appointments, not dials.
Check what's left
Notes saved, callbacks set and outcomes recorded? That's the part that turns into listings.
