RealDialer vs Vulcan7: Which One Fits You?
An all-in-one lead and training package, or a faster dialer for your own lists.
Vulcan7 is an all-in-one package: daily seller leads, a CRM, a single line power dialer and a lot of training, for a price you get from their sales team. RealDialer is a multi-line dialer with a built-in CRM and prices posted on its website, but no leads. If you want expireds handed to you every morning with coaching on how to call them, Vulcan7 is built for that. If you already have lists and want to talk to more people per hour, RealDialer is the better fit.
We make RealDialer, so keep that in mind as you read. Everything about Vulcan7 comes from its own website, package page, compliance page and 2026 terms of service. Confirm the details with Vulcan7 before you sign up.

- You're newer and want regular live training built into your subscription.

- You already have leads or want to pick your own data provider.
- You want to run more than one line when the list allows it.
- You want to see the price before you talk to sales.
- You call into more than one state and want calling hours handled for you.

The price question
Vulcan7 doesn't post prices. It says pricing "varies based on the plan and lead types you need." The directory Capterra lists $299 a month, but that number isn't from Vulcan7's own site. RealDialer starts at $89 per agent. To compare fairly, add a lead source to our price, like REDX expireds at $60 for about $149 total, and hold that against your Vulcan7 quote.
Questions to ask on the Vulcan7 sales call
- 01What's the monthly price for each plan in my market, and what does the longer-term discount look like?
- 02How many expireds and FSBOs came in for my area last month?
- 03What does pre-foreclosure cost as an add-on, and is my state covered?
- 04What does an extra seat or an extra whitelisted number cost?
- 05If I go month to month, how do I cancel, and how much notice do you need?
- 06Does my plan include the Follow Up Boss connection and AI transcripts?
Where Vulcan7 does really well
Vulcan7 has a loyal following, and its data and training are the reason many agents sign up.
Leads every morning
Fresh expireds arrive daily, and you get three months of past expireds on day one.
Training built in
Take52 Listings runs live every Tuesday and Thursday, plus 101 and 102 training sessions.
Everything in one login
Leads, CRM, email, calendar and dialer live together, so you're not stitching tools together.
Seats included
Executive includes 2 seats and Ultimate includes 3, which can suit a small team sharing one lead feed.
Number protection
Every plan includes a whitelisted number. Executive and Ultimate add spam monitoring and cleanup.
Where RealDialer pulls ahead
More than one line
Vulcan7's compliance page says its dialer makes one call at a time. RealDialer runs 3, 5 or 15 lines.
Prices you can see
You know what you'll pay before you talk to anyone.
Calling rules built in
Calling hours are checked for the contact's state and yours before every dial, with calls held until the window opens.
More numbers
Local caller IDs come with your plan, sized to your calling, and they rotate to stay healthy.
Follow Up Boss on every plan, AI on any plan
Two-way Follow Up Boss sync comes with all three plans, and RealDialer AI (Call Coach, AI transcripts and summaries) can be added to any of them for $49.97 per agent a month (RealDialer AI Pro $99.97) after a 14-day free trial. On Vulcan7, transcripts and Follow Up Boss start at Executive.
Use any data you want
Buy leads from any provider and switch whenever you like, without changing your dialer.
How they differ, topic by topic
A lead service with a dialer, or a dialer for your leads
Every Vulcan7 plan comes with daily expireds plus the last three months of them, a CRM, a power dialer, protected numbers and training. Executive adds daily FSBOs and 2,500 neighborhood leads a month. Ultimate adds FRBOs, 5,000 neighborhood leads and 1,000 premium neighborhood leads. Pre-foreclosure is an add-on on every plan.
A big part of what you pay for is the data, and Vulcan7 puts a lot of weight on how accurate its phone numbers are. RealDialer expects you to bring the leads.
One line vs many lines
This is the biggest day-to-day difference. With one line, you hear every ring, voicemail greeting and dead number. Vulcan7 says its dialer reaches "up to 80 dials an hour," a big step up from dialing by hand.
With several lines, the dialer calls a few numbers at once and connects you to whoever answers first. On a big cold list, that can mean many more conversations per hour. On a small warm list, one line is often better anyway. RealDialer lets you do both in the same day.
When one line is the better choiceDo-not-call labels and calling hours
Vulcan7 labels numbers that are on the national Do Not Call registry when they're added. At the start of each session, you choose to include or skip them. Its terms say you're responsible for checking DNC status and following state rules.
RealDialer handles calling hours for you, with rule sets for all 50 states plus DC checked on both ends before every dial. It switches recording behavior in states where everyone must agree. It keeps the DNC flags in your list and your own DNC list. Registry scrubbing happens with your list provider.
TCPA basics for agentsPhone apps and the fine print
Vulcan7 says its CRM works on mobile. Its App Store app is built mainly for inbound calls to your Vulcan7 number. It was last updated in 2020 and had 1.7 out of 5 stars from 37 ratings when we checked. RealDialer runs in your browser, and our iPhone app is in testing.
Vulcan7 says no long-term contract is required. Its 2026 terms say monthly plans renew unless you email support at least five business days before billing, and longer terms need 30 days of notice. RealDialer is month to month and cancels from your account.
How to test them side by side
Vulcan7 says agents can export its leads, so you can call the same list on both.

Ask the sales-call questions above so you know the real Vulcan7 price.
Use one list
Export a batch of leads and call them on both tools at the same hour.
Count conversations
Track real conversations and appointments, not dials.
