What it is
Each plan allows a set number of caller IDs per agent: 10 on Foundation, 35 on Operator and 100 on Command. If any one seat holds more caller IDs than the smaller plan allows, the downgrade button is greyed out until the extra numbers are released.
Where to find it
Settings > Billing > Plan and billing > Change plan. The reason shows in small text under the blocked plan.
Steps
- Read the note under the plan you want. It says how many caller IDs one of your seats holds and how many the plan allows.
- Go to Settings > Outbound numbers and release the extra numbers on that seat.
- Come back to Plan and billing. When no seat is over the limit, the downgrade button works.
Good to know
- The check looks at the single seat with the most caller IDs, not the account total.
- Upgrades are never blocked this way.
- If you are not sure which numbers to let go, check Settings > Number health first and keep the ones that still get answered.
- If you need help, open a support request in the Billing and plan category.
