Why I cannot start a session

What it is

The review step of the Dialer runs every check before your first call. If the start button is greyed out, the heading and status pill on that step tell you exactly what is missing.

Dialer > Review

Steps

1. Open Dialer and go to step 4.
2. Read the heading and the pill next to it. It reads All checks passed when you can start.
   

   

3. Fix what it names, using the list below, then come back.

Good to know

• Verify your callback phone: verify your cell in step 2.
• Campaign needs callable contacts: add a list with records to the campaign, or choose Start a new pass from the beginning.
• You have no caller IDs yet or Your numbers are being set up: you need at least one outbound number. New numbers take a little time.
• No way to connect your audio: browser calling is not available right now. Try again shortly or contact support.
• Voice service unreachable: press Retry voice connection on the right.
• A note under the start button asks you to verify your identity if that is still needed. Press Verify now and upload your photo ID. You can call once it is approved.
• If the Customer Agreement or calling terms still need your signature, they appear on screen when you press start.
• An error about attempts, limits or calling hours links to Dialer rules or calling hours.
