Turn on double dial

What it is

Double dial makes the dialer call the same number once more straight away when a call rings out or reaches voicemail, because people often pick up the second call.

Where to find it

Settings > Calling > Dialer rules > Double dial

Steps

1. Open Settings and choose Dialer rules.
2. Under Double dial, switch on Call again right away when nobody answers.
   

   

3. If the calling terms box appears, read them, tick the box and press Agree and save.
4. Switch it off the same way. It saves at once.

Good to know

• Off by default. Recommended only for warm or aged leads who expect your call. A second call within a minute can feel aggressive to cold prospects.
• It happens at most once per person per call block, only within a few minutes of the first call.
• Calling hours, do not call, your daily attempt limit, state limits and the abandoned call guard all still apply.
• Florida, Oklahoma and Maryland allow no more than 3 calls to the same person in 24 hours.
• With the default of one voicemail per person a month, double dial will not leave two messages.
• It applies from the next call dialed.
