What it is
The Redial button lets you call the same number again with one click after a call drops or does not connect. It is your own setting, off by default, and turning it on changes nothing for your teammates.
Where to find it
Settings > Calling > Dialer rules > Redial
Steps
- Open Settings and choose Dialer rules.
- Under Redial, switch on Redial button.
Dialer rules, Redial: switch on Redial button - Both parts switch on: After hang ups and After calls that did not connect. Untick one if you only want the other.
- The button shows from your next call, even in a dialer that is already open.
Good to know
- At least one of the two parts must stay on. To stop seeing the button, switch Redial off.
- At most 2 redials per person in a call block.
- Never offered after voicemail, do not call, or a wrong or bad number.
- Do not call, calling hours, your attempt limits and caller ID rest still apply.
- No calling terms box is needed, because a redial is one call you ask for with a click.
