What it is
This sets how many voicemails one person can be left in a week, a month or a quarter. After the limit, if that person’s voicemail answers again within that time, the dialer hangs up quietly and moves on.
Where to find it
Settings > Calling > Dialer rules > Voicemails
Steps
- Open Settings and choose Dialer rules.
- Under Voicemails, open Voicemails per person.
- Pick how many voicemails (1 to 5, or No limit), then a week, a month or a quarter. For example 1 a week, or 2 a month. One a month is what we recommend. It saves at once.

Dialer rules, Voicemails: pick how many voicemails one person can get, and over what time
Good to know
- The default is 1 a month.
- A week means today and the 6 days before it. A month means today and the 29 days before it.
- The limit also stops double dial from leaving two messages.
- It covers voicemails left with your saved drop.
- Only an account owner or manager can change it.
