What it is
The Email tab on a contact shows every email your sequences sent to them and any they sent back. To write one email yourself, you send it from your own email app.
Where to find it
Open a contact > Email button (opens the Email tab).
Steps
- Open the contact and press Email at the top. The Email tab opens with the history.
Press Email to open the Email tab - To write a one off email, click their email address on the record. It opens in your own email app.
Click the address to write in your own email app - On the Property tab, each email address also has a Send button that opens your email app with a subject already filled in.
On Property, Send opens your email app with a subject - To send email automatically, add an email step to a sequence and tick Send automatically.
Good to know
- Automatic sequence emails go out from your own domain. Set that up under Settings, Integrations, Email sending.
- Sending sequence emails automatically needs the Email upgrade. Without it, an email step lands as a task with the email written out so you can send it by hand.
- An address marked Unsubscribed cannot be emailed from RealDialer.
- Bounced addresses are marked on the Property tab.
